In addition to these classes, you will deepen your understanding of the magnificent Guinean culture, music and dance at the fireside chat & storytelling, song classes, and while dancing and drumming the night away at the Dundunba Party!
You will have time to…explore the beautiful surroundings with a walk or a hike; unwind with a relaxing massage; read a book on the deck; or, perhaps best of all, chat and connect with other amazing people attending the retreat.

Retreat pricing & options
Retreat cost - $375, or $325 if registered by May 1, 2019
DISCOUNTS: Two of the following 3 discounts can all apply for people registered by May 1st:
• $50 off for early bird registration
• $15 off if coming from more than 3 hour drive from Seattle
• $15 off each if 5 or more people come from the same city outside of the Seattle metropolitan area (to receive this, please list the other people from your city who are also attending)
ACCESS FUND: An anonymous benefactor has started an “Access Fund” making it possible to offer some special pricing and discount options for people born in Africa and for people of African descent who would like to attend the whole weekend event. The discounts are available on a first come first served basis, and youth from 12-18 are especially encouraged to participate. Please contact us for more information.

Get in the car Friday, arrive at the Fauntleroy Ferry Terminal in West Seattle by 2pm to allow for heavy summer traffic. Cross the water (20 minutes), and drive 25 minutes south to arrive at the retreat location Friday evening at or slightly before 3:15pm.

About the location
Beautiful Camp Sealth is located on nearly 400 acres of incredible forest and wetlands on the southwest shore of the magnificent Vashon Island, Washington. The property includes over a mile of gorgeous saltwater beaches along Colvos Passage.
The main camp area, right on the water, features a large play-field, dining hall, campfire amphitheater, beautiful views, plants and fresh sea air. Enjoy near-pristine forests while hiking miles of trails along and within the wetlands and waterfront. Relax, refresh and revive in this revitalizing outdoor environment, a perfect setting for those who appreciate a relaxed wilderness atmosphere.
Classes and meals will be held in the spacious main lodge with wood floors and big windows that bring the outdoors in; this is the essence of the best of Pacific Northwest life! Group sleeping accommodations in cabins clustered throughout this amazing north woods setting provide you the chance to really experience this incredible natural location while connecting with others attending the camp.
